Accomplishments
The Berks County Libertarian Party has made significant strides in advancing liberty through local electoral success. In the 2019 elections, Libertarians secured multiple positions within the county, including borough council seats in Baily, Birdsboro, and Kenhorst, as well as township auditor roles in Exeter, Jefferson, Longswamp, Lower Alsace, and Maidencreek Townships. These victories reflect the party’s commitment to grassroots involvement and its growing influence in local governance. By focusing on attainable local offices, the Berks County Libertarian Party continues to provide residents with meaningful alternatives to the traditional two-party system, fostering a community where individual freedoms and limited government are prioritized.
